During the weekend of May 22-23, an international team attempted to dive trough the 3rd siphon of Grotta di Locoli,  which can be found in Sardega. The attempt was successfull, the 3rd siphon, which waited for 22 years to pass, was lead to air filled passage after 1700 m of length, and 90m of depth (!). Quickly, a 4th siphon was found and dived trough, which turned out to be (100m,-10m). Also, a 5th siphon was found, and attempted, but the lead diver turned back after (250m,-34m). We are organizing with great commitment supramontes International Speleological Camp 2010 to be held in Urzulei (Sardinia) 1 to 15 August 2010. Time we have a website where you’ll find all the necessary information.

For our logistical needs we are asking participants to register in advance on the website by completing the registration form online, and to pay a minimum fee of 40 Euros (which provides 5 days of participation in the camp). The registration fee is composed of shares (5 euros) and a daily fee of 7 Euros. For example, if one decides to stay 8 days in advance will pay 5 + 8 × 7 = 61 euros, but if it remains all the 14 days the percentage rises to 103 euros. The registration and payment entitlement to food and accommodation for the days indicated on the form. There are two social dinners (middle and end of field) that can be paid at the time (during camp) at rates to be agreed (but reasonable). Do not worry, if you pay for 8 days and then remain only 4 ,we will refund you.

Keep in mind that the camp was organized at a time “hot”, so try to book early places by boat or plane. We expect to do the shuttle between the airports of Cagliari and Olbia on demand, and perhaps also from Alghero. Enough that you do know there early!
