Between 21.08.2009 and 13.09.2009 a cave diving expedition was acting in the Western Caucasus, it was lead by Yuri Evdokimov. The core of the expedition was a team of nine people. The aim of the expedition was to find the karst sprigs mentioned in literature, find the approach to them, and dive into them if possible, to prepare following expeditions.  Nine major karst springs were observed (dived), the deepest one was -85m, for five of them you can find the survey on People Cave Expedition, with photo and text documentation.
