For three weeks, fifteen french cavers sponsored by FFS explored the karst of Khamouane, in Laos. In Koun Dun cave, they explored 10km of new galleries, extending the length of the cave to 21km, the longest in Laos. In Tham Dom cave, which was explored in 2002 to 150m, they reached 4,5 km of surveyed passages. The first week of the expedition was spent with rescuing a caver with injured leg, the operation was successful. During the whole expedition, 18km of new galleries were surveyed!
