Boegan “, caving group of the Società Alpina delle Giulie – Trieste Section of the Italian Alpine Club, and the University of Trieste, Department of Geosciences. The whole organization will be overseen by the Commission Grotte “E. Boegan “, the Department of Geosciences, Triestin Speleological Federation and Jamarska Zveza Slovenije, the structures that have worked for decades on the “Carso Classico” and which will provide conference participants to make it better known. As ASPEG (Anatolian Speleology Group) and members from HUMAK (Hacettepe University Caving Club) has descended to the longest pit in Turkey; Bucakalan cave, 305 meters. This cave has two pits, one is going down to -192 m and other goes down to -345 m. In 1992, it was discovered by French cavers and they have left some galleries unexplored especially in 192 m pit. We have discovered one gallery and went down 50 m. 14 cavers was in the expedition. Also we have found cave grasshopers and collected samples to identify their origin. We had caver-biologists in our team.
