Davorjevo Brezno – Kozina (Hrpelje), SLO

Together with the Jamarsko Drustvo Herpelje Kozina, the CGEB has found and explored a new vertical cave in the Classical Karst, just beyond the Italian-Slovenjan border. The cave, 200 m deep and almost a kilometer long, has the biggest drop of 60 m, and includes several large rooms. The end at the moment is a flooded passage, with pools, that form a beautifoul environment in the Classical Karst.

More explorations are under way as well as some scientific researches. The documentation is available on the CGEB site, more details (in Italian) at http://www.boegan.it/index.php?id=802
