At 6th of March, 2010 two recently (2008, 2009) discovered caves were connected in the karst of Buda-hills. Jewel Cave reaches 150-mile mark

Jewel Cave surpassed 150 miles of mapped and explored passageways last weekend, according to a news release. Three exploration teams of volunteers entered the cave on Saturday morning and spent between 12 and 20 hours underground surveying various areas of the cave.
