-800m in Satanachia

During summer expeditions, cavers of Gruppi Speleo di Lucca e Forte di Marmi pushed Abisso Satanachia to -800m in the valley of Sereneaia, in Alpi Apuani, Italy. The cave is still going on, explorers turned back because of lack of equipement from the bottom. More info in theri blog, here.

New entrance to Chimera

News from Carcaria, Italy: with enlarging passages bypassing landslides of “V2″ cave, a connection  to Abisso Chimera had happened trough Pozzo Hosanna (P80).  Now it is the systems highest entrance, making it 30m deeper. more info here
