Hi,
errata corrige, the pit is 495m deep (http://www.caverbob.com/pit.htm). It’s dedicated to Fabio Scabar, speleologist from Trieste recently passed away. For obvious reasons exploration will be resumed during the up-comming summer season.
Cheers.
