Here you can read about the expedition of polish cavers to Leoganger Steinberg, Dürrkarr area, Austria. The main focus of the expedition in July, was Tropik-Viertel Höhle, where the two separate branches were pushed, Tropik to -535m, Viertel to -772m (with the use of an internal camp at -670m). Still some questions remain in these parts. There was also breaktrough in another cave, Edelweisschacht, where the ice from previvious years had melted, and only the lack of time caused explorers to turn back from -121m. On the surface, a total of 20 new objects were checked, with the deepest one beeing -40m.
