For one week in the middle of february, hungarian cavers held their traditional winter camp in V5 cave, Padis, Transylvania. The eight participants constructed the 3rd underground camp, which is quite far away from the entrance. With climbing chimnies & bypassing lakes the group discovered & surveyed 1km of new passages, including cross-sections with dimensions of 50x30m (!). The cave reached the length of 20km, with a depth of -652m. When leaving the cave, explorers had to go out in high water level ,because of large amount of snow melted on the plateau.
