Between 15-22 January cavers from Speleoklub “Bobry” Zagan attempted to reach the bottom of the 501m deep entrance shaft of Brezno pod Velbom abyss. This is the 6th time since 1999 when they try to make it, as it is part of their project – The Crown of the Subterrean – descending the deepest shafts of the world. This year they were unlucky, too, because of an ice plug at -400m stopped them.
