Polish caving club, Sekcji Grotołazów Wrocław had their fifth consecutive expedition in Arabika massif, Caucasus. In PL-1 cave, they reached -490m depth. The depth was -330m in previvious year in this cave, and they surpassed this limit with a digging, which was conducted from an underground camp. Now the size of the cave started growing, so it is quite prospecting. Another group worked on a surface dig, for ten days, they removed several tons of rocks, and finally entered into a new cave 220m long, with reasonable draft. This new cave might join Bretska Krępością cave, which was discovered previviously by them. This year a total of 200 speleologists worked in the Arabika area..
