Prokletije – Bjeshket e Namun, summer 2009
Report of WKTJ, Speleoklubu Swietokrzyskie and Speleoklubu Świętokrzyskiego i Akademickiego Klubu Grotołazów (Kraków) from the polish expedition in the Belic massif.
The expedition took place in the period from 19 July to 9 August 2009 (some people began to work a week earlier).
The aim of the expedition was to continue exploration in 2007, 2008 and spring 2009 trip. Part of the activities were conducted in the eastern part of the massif (in the vicinity of Bora pass, pass of Preslopit and Summit Kalata). This regions deepes explored cave, Jaskinię Lodowa which was explored to approximately -420 m depth (for reasons of time surveyed to -165 meters) – the exploration will continue, due to the water, during the winter. An interesting discovery in this area is the Jaskinia Kolektor (93 m depth, 602 m in length measured).
In the region of bases last year (around Summit Rosita, Summit Sokolit, Breg Maljsor) was completed to explore in the cave Jaskini Wrota Piekieł (143 m deep). Two new interesting discoveries in this area include Jaskinia Guzikowców (112 m depth) and the Jaskinia Fińskich Drwali (95 m deep), where the expedition will return next year.
Search was conducted simultaneously on the surface, as a result of which was checked several holes.
In total, over 1700 meters new survey was taken.
The expedition was attended also, by cavers from Speleoklubu Czestochowa, Speleoklubu Kraljevo and ASAK from Belgrade.
