The exploration camp organized by the Departmental Committee of Speleology of the Ardeche took place on the high plateaux of the Vercors from August 22 to September 6, 2009. This is was the eigth one in consecutive camp organized by them. He has gatheredThere was 21 participants from various places (Ardèche, Drôme, Isère, Rhone and Dordogne Belgium). Exploring Scialet Zakapouët (Corrençon en Vercors), discovered last year and explored down to -380 meters has continued this year to -625 meters with a terminus on a vertical drop of 25 meters. The total length of the eplored parts are 1 155 meters. While his exploration is not over yet, this scialet is already in the top 10 deepest caves in the Vercors. Making a dye trace in the river of Zakapouët, the colored water came out 9 days later at the Source Adouin (captured by the village of Saint Martin).
